During the account signup process, Title IO collects user submitted information such as name, email address, country, phone number and address to authenticate users. This information is required in order for a user to receive a username and password in order to gain access to the Site. Each approval is a specific, unique request from another user on the Site. Title IO does not publicly post or disseminate user profile information. The Site is based on trust and confidentiality at the user level and requires the user to specifically identify other individuals on the Site. There is no functionality allowing a user to browse for names, email addresses and the other profile information mentioned above.

Title IO strives to maintain a user friendly Site free of, but not limited to, Spam, phishing attacks and botnet attacks. Title IO has the right to suspend user access if it is believed the user is engaging in activity that detracts from the trust-based environment or negatively impacts functionality and performance. Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, Title IO will not disclose personal information to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary: (1) to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by Title IO, whether or not a response is required by applicable law; (2) to enforce the Title IO Terms of Service Agreement or to protect our rights; or (3) to protect the safety of members of the public and users of the service. Title IO reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of Title IO or substantially all of its assets to that successor in interest.

Although we will use this aggregate information primarily for internal purposes, we may disclose aggregate statistics regarding Site usage to partners and other third parties and for other lawful purposes. Disclosures of this type will not contain any user-specific information and the aggregation cannot be manipulated to reveal information about an individual user.

Use of Cookies

When you interact with the titleio.com and/or sendside.com websites we strive to make that experience easy and meaningful. When you come to our Site, our web server sends a cookie to your computer. Cookies are files that web browsers place on a computer’s hard drive and are used to tell us whether customers and visitors have visited the Site previously.

Standing alone, cookies do not identify you personally. They merely recognize your browser. Cookies come in two flavors: session and persistent-based. Session cookies exist only during an online session. They disappear from your computer when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you’ve closed your browser or turned off your computer. They include such information as a unique identifier for your browser.

Title IO uses session cookies containing encrypted information to allow the system to uniquely identify you while you are logged in. This information allows Title IO to process your online transactions and requests. Session cookies help us make sure you are who you say you are after you’ve logged in and are required in order to use the Title IO applications. Title IO uses persistent cookies, that only Title IO can read and use, to identify the fact that you are a Title IO customer or prior Title IO Site visitor (whatever the case may be). We are especially careful about the security and confidentiality of the information stored in persistent cookies. For example, we do not store account numbers or passwords in persistent cookies. Users who disable their Web browsers’ ability to accept cookies will be able to browse our Website but will not be able to successfully use our Service.

Third Party Cookies: We may from time to time engage third parties to track and analyze non-personally identifiable usage and volume statistical information from visitors to our Site to help us administer our website and improve its quality. Such third parties may use cookies to help track visitor behavior. Such cookies will not be used to associate individual website visitors to any personally identifiable information. All data collected by such third parties on behalf of Title IO is used only to provide us with information on Site usage and is not shared with any other third parties.

Third-Party Sites

The Site may contain links to other websites. Title IO is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other websites. Customers and visitors will need to check the policy statement of these others websites to understand their policies. Customers and visitors who access a linked site may be disclosing their private information. It is the responsibility of the user to keep such information private and confidential.

Security

Our Site has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the data under our control. When our Site is accessed using Firefox 2.0 or Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 9 or higher, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects information using both server authentication and data encryption to help ensure that data is safe, secure, and available only to you. Title IO also implements an advanced security method based on dynamic data and encoded session identifications, and hosts the Site in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. Finally, Title IO requires unique user names and passwords that must be entered each time a customer logs on. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of data.
